Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 19 August 2026 · Last updated: 19 August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Nessco website, the @nessco/harness SDK, and any related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Nessco ("Nessco", "we", "us"). By accessing the website, installing the SDK, or requesting a demo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. The service

Nessco provides a runtime policy boundary for autonomous AI agents (the "harness"), covering intent-level policy enforcement, outbound and content inspection, a tamper-evident audit chain, and related edge-AI training engagements. The Service is offered in different deployment modes (cloud, self-hosted, air-gapped) and different commercial tiers as described on the pricing page; the specific scope of any engagement is set out in an order form or statement of work agreed separately with your account team.

3. Accounts & sign-in

Where the site offers sign-in with GitHub, we receive only the profile information GitHub discloses under the requested scopes (public profile and, where granted, a verified email address). We do not receive or store your GitHub password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and for all activity that occurs under your Nessco session. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts used in violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to build or operate an agent whose purpose is to evade the harness's own detection or enforcement mechanisms; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or the infrastructure it runs on; (c) reverse engineer the hosted control plane beyond what applicable law permits; (d) misrepresent your identity or affiliation when requesting a demo or consultation; or (e) use the Service in a manner that violates applicable law, including export control and sanctions regimes.

5. SDK license & beta status

The @nessco/harness SDK is currently published at version 0.1.0 for design partners under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it for the purpose of evaluating and integrating the Service. The API surface may change without notice prior to a stable 1.0 release. Do not rely on the SDK in front of production traffic without a written agreement with Nessco covering that use.

6. Fees & billing

There is no self-service checkout on this website. Pricing shown on the pricing page is an illustrative, non-binding estimate based on company size, revenue, agent count and deployment mode. Actual fees are agreed in a signed order form following a consultation, and are invoiced on the terms set out in that order form. No payment method is collected through this website.

7. Intellectual property

Nessco retains all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including the SDK, the hosted control plane, and all associated documentation, trademarks and logos. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you except the limited license granted in Section 5. Policy configurations, audit logs and models you train using your own data remain yours.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared during a demo, questionnaire, or consultation that is marked confidential, or that would reasonably be understood to be confidential given its nature, will be used by Nessco solely to evaluate and deliver the Service, and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required to operate the Service or as required by law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service, including any pre-1.0 SDK release, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nessco does not warrant that the Service will detect or prevent every attack, leak, or rogue action — it is one control among several a reasonable security programme should maintain.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nessco will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nessco's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid Nessco in the twelve months preceding the claim, except where such a limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nessco harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Term & termination

These Terms apply for as long as you access the website or use the SDK. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion in the event of a breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 7 through 11 — will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nessco is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. [Jurisdiction to be confirmed by counsel.]

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
